De 547 Carrera racemotor was de eerste Porsche-motor die speciaal voor het racen is ontwikkeld.
Het ontwikkelingsteam onder leiding van Ernst Fuhrmann heeft deze revolutionaire motor gebouwd.
De oorspronkelijke 110 pk en 1,5 liter cilinderinhoud van de boxermotor heeft sinds 1953 verschillende Porsche raceauto's naar tal van raceoverwinningen gebracht.

Deze Carrera racemotor type 547 is exact nagebouwd op een schaal van ongeveer 1/3.
De Carrera 547 racemotor is een legende van de sportwagenfabrikant Porsche. 
Dit technische meesterwerk bracht de Porsches 356 en 550 Spyder naar tal van raceoverwinningen in de jaren 1950 en 1960.
